The Tunz Stereo Headset is another product by a brand we love here at Round Reviews – TYLT. Their wide range of products never lack bright colours, and great design while not forgetting the functionality, and the Tunz Stereo Headset is no different. As with most products the name of the product is slightly weird but this doesn’t remove the fact that this pair of headphones are of high quality.

With these headphones priced at only $39.99 you wouldn’t be blamed for thinking that the sound quality of these may not live up too much. But after putting them through our audio tests we can say nothing else but you’d be very very wrong. In fact these may just be the best quality headphones on the market for this price. The headphones come in a variety of colours including red, white, blue, black and green and come with a nice travel bag, cable management clip, 3 different sizes of comfort gels (normal in-ear buds), 3 different sizes of active gels (in-ear buds designed for active sports). Here is what TYLT say about the active gels:

[x_blockquote cite=”TYLT” type=”left”]Thoughtfully designed to the actual contours of the human ear, Active GelsTMprovide a secure and comfortable fit. From extreme athletics to everyday wear, the fit difference is as dramatic as the sound quality of TUNZ.[/x_blockquote]

An increasingly popular trend we are starting to see in more and more headphones is the flat cable which is meant to help reduce tangling in the headphone wires, so it’s always a plus to see a company integrating this.

In terms of the audio quality the headset doesn’t disappoint as stated by the packaging you get a deep rich bass while pertaining clear and crisps highs. The wire length is 1.2 meters which should be absolutely fine wherever you decide to place your phone/media player while on the move such as in your bag or pocket. It’s also worth pointing out that the wire has an in-line mic and controls to play music and answer calls, unfortunately it does lack volume controls. PC  The 3.5mm jack supporter (plastic/rubber that supports the 3.5mm jack to help ensure wire stays intact) is also large and extends quite far which can be a little annoying at times.
