Another product from Anker, but this time a super slim wireless keyboard and mouse combo. This company never seem to stop designing and producing top of the range products, and having been there from when the company almost started I and everyone else really can see how much they have grown.
This time around I am reviewing their impressive but slightly cheap looking slim mouse and keyboard combo.

Straight from the box the keyboard and mouse are small but Anker have managed to fit full sized keys onto the product which really do make a difference when typing for long periods. The product has a sleek think profile with the keyboard being only 0.23 inches thick, whereas the mouse is 3.8 × 2.5 × 1.5 inches in size. Being so small the portability of the pair is incredible adding little weight and taking up nearly no space in any bag/luggage. Also included are hot-keys optimized for Windows machines (not tested on Mac machines). One thing to note if you are purchasing in the UK is that the keyboard is US layout and not UK, so bare this in mind.

  • Battery Operated
  • US layout (not UK)
  • One 2.4G Wireless Receiver for both keyboard and mouse
  • Adjustable DPI
  • Automatic sleep mode

While using the product I have noticed that the mouse becomes quite uncomfortable to use even after a short amount of time partly due to the fact that the grip has just been moulded from the plastic exterior. Also adding to this was that the mouse really didn’t feel like it moulded to the hand properly and just overall felt uncomfortable to move around. After around 30 minutes of use I decided to plug my old wireless mobile mouse in and use that, as it had just become unbearable for practical use.
On the other hand the keyboard worked really nicely and had quite a good range of use. The low profile keys were silent when pressed and all hot keys/media function short-cut buttons worked as they should.

  • Uncomfortable mouse
  • No Rechargeable functionality

Overall not a bad little product from Anker, especially if your travelling a lot and need small compact mouse and keyboard to go with. Although if you are thinking of using this product as your permanent combo then I would suggest looking elsewhere as the mouse just isn’t up to the standards you would expect. So will I be switching over to this combo full-time… unfortunately not just yet.
