Netflix may have introduced offline video downloads to its service, however, not all videos are apart of the program. Rather than just downloading specific videos people have been searching for ways to download any video from the platform to their devices.
For Windows users, we now have an answer thanks to a release by DVDVideoSoft. They’ve released a new brand new tool called ‘Free Netflix Downloader’, which as you may guess, allows you to download any Netflix videos straight to your computer.
To get started you need to head over to the DVDVideoSoft website and download the Free Netflix Downloader software. Once you’ve got it installed you can open it up and you’ll be presented with a simple user interface.
Next up log into Netflix, navigate to the video you want to download and copy the URL into the software (or click the green paste button). Click download and the software will begin to download your video.
The downloader has a few useful features including a built-in conversion capabilities so that you can save your videos in different formats, including those suited for your iPhone/iPad. Multiple downloads are also supported so you don’t have to collect your videos one at a time.
After trying out the software, I was quite impressed and everything seemed to work as it should. One thing to note is the video quality, as this takes a hit when being downloaded through the DVDVideoSoft program. It definitely isn’t what you will be used to watching on Netflix itself or watching after downloading videos through the official Netflix downloader. Hopefully we will see DVDVideoSoft add HQ downloads in future updates.
How does Netflix feel about this? Well as of yet they not released anything or given any push-back to the idea, however, it’s highly likely that at some point in the near future they may try and close this down.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the matter, but for now you can head over to the following link to download: Download Free Netflix Downloader
